Beland has resigned bis Federal Portfolio of Minister for Health and Soldiers' Civil Re-establish-ment. Mr J. C. Elliott, Minister for Labour, was sworn in as Minister for these two Departments. Mr Beland's resignation was for the purpose of reducing the siee of the Cabinet.
