Commander Franco's seaplane, the Plus Ultra, which flew from the Canaries to the Capo Verde Islands in 11J hours, leaves Porto Grand© on Saturday on the third stage to Fernando Noronha (Brazil), a distance of 1440 miles, which is the most difficult stage of the journey. [Commander Franco, liead of the Spanish Aviation and Captain Ruiz Dalds, aboard a twin-engined allmetal Dornier hydroplane, are attempts in<; a trans-Atlantic flight from Madrid to Buenos Ayres.]
