K. Patrick as captain of the New Zealand team to tour Australia, as recommended by the Selection Committee. The Wellington Cricket Association decided to-night to write to the New Zealand Cricket Council requesting tbafc a match bp arranged between the Wellington representatives and the New Zealand touring team on November 18th and 19th. Tbo Otago Cricket Association wrote suggesting January 29th and ,10th and February Ist as the dates for the Otigo-Wellington Plnnket Shield match. In view of the fact that the anniversary of Wellington Province falls on January 22nd, it was derided to request Otago to bring forward the dates one week.
