A telegram from Swampscott (Massachusetts) states that" Mr Coolidge has ordered tho coast patrol to attack a fleet of rum-runners plainly visible from the President's summer residence here. General Andrews, chief of the Prohibition enforcement, is concentrating the guardsmen afloat and ashore to prevent bootleggers' ships supplying Boston and manufacturing town* ia Massachusetts. Mr Coolidge is expected to teeommend a largo appropriation for enforcement in the event of the failure of the attack. Swampscott is a favoufito haunt for smugglers, due to the number of its bays and inlets. A 3000dollar liquor caehe Was recently discovered in an unoccupied house adjoining the President's, resulting in the arrest of the chiof of police at Swampscott. ,
