PAPANUI PROGRESS LEAGUE.
A meeting of the Papanui Progress League was.held for tho purpose of considering a reply from the Tramway Board to their petition regarding tram-stop at Papanui. Much, exception was taken to the Board's attitude in the matter. A special committee" was sot up to go into ways and means of securing tho relief required. Tho committee will report at a public meeting called by the Progress Leaguo at a later date.
