OPEN-AIR SCHOOLS.
SIR JAMES PARR'S SUPPORT. Speaking to the chairman and members of the Canterbury Education Board yesterday morning, Sir James Parr, Minister of Education, said: "There is a strong feeling for open-air schools, and I'm &oing to give them a fair run. In a year's time wo. will know a good deal more about them. Perhaps enthusiasts here have discovered something which will revolutionise school buildings. My attitude towards these open-air schools is one of'kindl-y^bene-volence and support." > ' .
