WOOL. The coming holidays are causing quiter business, and there is no change in prices for fopa, except 4U's prepared (coarse crossbred) 2a 31d. APPLES. Apples ex lonia practically disposed of' at last, week's pricefi. Maimoa and Port Brisbane now discharging. Condition of Port Brisbane apples superior to any previous shipments, but somo ex Maimoa wasty and overripe. Prices for fruit, ex Jatter vessel are:—Sturmei, 15s to 16s per case; Statesman. 15a to 16s per case; Delicious, 14s to 16s per case; Jonathan, 10a to 15s per case; Pioneer,. 14s to 16s per case; London Pippin, 14b to ICa per case; Dunns Favourite 14s to l«s -per case; Cleopatra, 14s to 16s' per caße; Rome Beauty, 14s to 16s per cess; Stark, 14s to 16s per oase. Further report on this shipment next week, also prices for Port Brisbane fruit. Tasmanian apples in poor condition, ana low prices obtained.

RANGIORA STOCK MARKET. There was a large attendance at the Rangiora market and a fair volume of business was done in' the several departments. The fat lamba are now a fast diminishing quantity, thf, yarding being 521. A general clearance was made, the values being; equal to llld per lb, prime lots realising 30s M to 84s lOd each, and one extra good 87s Id. .Medium-weight mode 27s Bd to 29s Hd. light 23s to 265. There was also a steady stilo for the ewes and wetlwrt. prime < 3 wes making 27s to 31s, medium 22s to 25s 4d. light 18« 9d to 19S 9d, and wethers 29s 10d Vaf Id, 25 at 33s 7<l; J. Exports of wool for ;he eleven months in review were 579,950 bales, as compared, with 610,845 bales for the corresponding eleven months of 1922-1923. The heaviest exports were Wellington 140,757 bales, Napier 93,290 bales, Chrißtchurch 90,007 bales, and AVanganui 69,79?, 'bales, Dunedin. 49,92 C bales Auckland and Opna 42,927 bales, Timaru 35,452 bales, Invcrcargill 31,554 bales Gisbome, ToUomaru Bay and Back's Bav 28,873 bales.
