Workers now have regular fixed wages, and though large classes have to live on half of their pfCrwar incomes they now know what they earn and what they buy. gjhops are again full of the necessaries find luxuries. Confidence has been regtpred, and public and private affairs are being conducted on the basis pf the sure expectation of a stable currency. There is a feeling tha£ the whole nation is just waking, full of energy to begin a new era.
