On hearing that a band of armed 3?athans fyad entered a village in his State, and plundered the houses of two rich men, taking 15,000 rupees' worth pf loqt, the Maharajah of Bfiria desr patched a party of infantry in motor lorries and himself followed a little later.
The infantry encountered cqits, t\vo pf whom wore killed, several wounded, and five captured. ["Dacpit" is an Anglo-Indian word signifying a member of a, rpbber band.]
