The Christclrurch Stock Exchange has received the following advice, from Consolidated Gold Fields, Ltd., of the crushing returns of the Blackwater Mines, Ltd., for the month of September, 1923: Crushed 3500 tons of ore, yielding 1688 fine ounces of gold; value at £4 8» per fine ounce, £6989; working expenses, £4842; working profit, £2147; development, £584; capital, £46; net profit, £1517.
