The City Council wrote assenting to the centre having the use of tho baths for one hour weekly for instructional classes, and agreed to admit adult instructors free. It was to be understood that the society was not to have tii© right to exclude tho public. It was resolved to make a further application to tho Council to permit the us© of the baths for an hour during the mixed bathing hours, so that both sexes would be able to mako use of tho classes. Messrs Petersons. Ltd., bavin." - donated a. cup. it was resolved to allocate it to a competition to be held on the i lines of the excellence trophy for seciondarv schools (boys or girls).
