Frederick Marryatt, manager of tho • Wcreroa Boys' Training Farm, was (charged this morning in the Police Court with the theft of money totalling ■ £SB lis M. \ There were six charges altogether. The first one concerned tho sum of £8 \ iJs 2d, which, was forwarded, it was j aliened, to settle an account for an accident in which one of* the inmates was ] concerned. It was alleged that the ! accused had paid the money into his | private accoiint. He pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
