A telegram from Philadelphia says that Harry G. Brock, a millionaire society man, is the first motorist in America to be convicted on a murder charge arising from an automobile accident. Brock pleaded guilty to murder in the second degree, and was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. His automobile ran down and killed two women and a boy alighting from a tram-car. His motor was travelling at a high rate of speed through the city streets.
