The monthly meeting of the CanUrtrury Fruitgrowers' Aaocittion Vm held on SfetQP day night, Mr P. W- Cone presiding attt • lorge attendance. Th» MinUter of Agriculture wrote raplyin* io a letter from the Association in regno to the imposition of a duty'on fruit tree*, ana the remoy»l of the embargo on the importation info New Zetland of fruit tree# from Australia. He stated that the commumc*tion did not reach him until after the ne* tariff had been placed before Parliament.
