The' 17th •Division is to be disbanded at the end of this year, when Colonel Reid will ! return to England to rejoin Mrs Reid, who has been staying for the past year in London, making her headquarters at 2 Granville Place, Port-man Square. Her daughter is at school at Winchester, and her son is at a preparatory school., Before going to Mesopotamia, Colonel Reid had a year's service as A.A. and G.M.G. to the British Mission under General Holman, and he had some verv interesting experiences during Denikin's and General Wrangel's campaigns in South Russia. Mr John Beveridge (Wellington) has returned t-o London from a six week's Continental tour, which embraced Holland, Belgium, Paris., Switzerland, Italy (frgm Milan to Naples), Southern France, and back to Paris., He. saw 1 something of the battlefields both of Belgium and France. Mr Beveridge lias gone for a short tour in Scotland, and on November 16th he will join the Adriatic for New York, en route to the Journeying again to New York, he will go to 3lontreal, Quebec, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and 'Vancouver, connecting with the Niagara on January 14th. New Zealand should be reached at the beginning of February. The party accompanying Mr and Mre Edward Gi;ay to New Zealand—the second tour organised by Mr Gray, consists of Mr and Mrs N.
