TRINITY CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH.

The monthly meeting of the Trinity Congregational Church was held in the Trinity Hall on Wednesday evening, tie Bev. H. J. Huffadine presiding* over a fair attendance. The report from the deacons stated that Mr Walter Wilkinson would bo elected lion, secretary, and Messrs Bryant and Bull joint treasurers. Votes of thanks were passed, to Messrs Bryant and Wilkinson for their ptijt services. Two new members were nominated. The hon. treasurer presented his monthly statement which showed a credit balance. A special appeal was made by the treasurer urging- all members to take up the envelopes in connexion with tho weekly offerings. The sum of £5 18s as a special donation to the L.M.S. was passed. A letter was received from llr W. G. Johns thanking the deacons and-members for their sympathy in his recent bereavement. Miss E. S tint hers, Mr and Mrs Horsefall, and Mr Walton, who are shortly leaving for a trip to England, were wished a pleasant and safo voyage. The following were elected delegates to the Congregational Union meetings, to be held in Wellington about March atV— M"-s»rs W. O. Carbon, Win. Congroye, G. E. Franklin, S. C. Owen, and Walter Wilkinson.
