OBITUARY.
Tho death is announced of Mr Archibald F. McMinn, third Bon of Mr and Mrs Alex. McMinn, of Auckland. Dnceased wns particularly well known in football circles, having been a prominent representative player si few years ago. Of rceent years his health had not been good, and he was obliged to relinquish newspaper work in which ho had been engaged in Carterton and Dnnnevirke. A well-known Auckland solicitor. Mr Frederick Ernest Shera, died on Wednesday at tho residence of his niece, Mrs T. H. Dawson, R«muera, after a short illness. Mr Shera had been conncctcd with the legal practice of tho Hon. J. A. Tole, K.C., for many years. As a young man he studied medicine in Dublin, but coming to Now Zealand he entored the legal profession. Mr Shera had been a member of the Auckland Club for many years. j
