Mr Hoban etated that, in conpesio:! with 'the Star and Garter Hotel, Wai.V .i, the licensee had only obtained possession during the past week, and had not been L' a position to carry out the required impr . ements. ( However, cow that possession had obtained the necessary alterations vould be 'affected. - The matter was allowed o stand - over, to the next meeting of tho .railtee. ■ As the plans and specifications <ii tho now ?• ufc.delphi Hotel, Kaikoura, had no< been ieturned from 'Wellington, the 1 ic.?nso was ■' Allowed to fit and over for three months.
