SKIN-GRAFTING OFFER.
"I have been told that many wounds are badly healed becauso the doctors cannot get skin to graft on tho wound. I would consider it an honour to bo allowed to put myself at your disposal at any time in order that portions of my skin might bo taken to graft on a wound. . . ." Tho above is from a letter received by the resident medical officer of the Fishmongers' Hall Hospital, England, from a nineteen-year-old girl employed in a large London office.
'The offer is a genuine one," the doctor stated, "and shows the extraordinary patriotism of one who is unable to help in other •ways. At the moment -are hare no case that -would benefit from such a sacrifice, but in about two months one of our patients may require skin-grafting, and then I shall certainly consider taking advantage of the offer.''-
