LADY LIVERPOOL FUND.
WAIKARI. Hie children of the VTaikari School have for eome time past been touring the district in search of bottler. Bottles Lav© been arriving at tho school every day, and in every conceivable Maori kits, sugar bags, hand carts, gigs, and motorcars being employed to convey theui. Much to the satisfaction of the teachers, and tho delight o£ the children, the total number exceeded all expectations. Xinely-nine crates were railed to Christchurch, 3924 bottles. Th« district is now quite cleaned out- of bottles, and no collectors need visit hero for some time to come. IDLERS' CLUB. . The entertainment given by the members of the Idlers' Club in the Choral Hall on Saturday, October Slat, has enabled them t-o hand over to the Lady Liverpool Fund the handsome sum of £90.
