RUSSIA'S CAMPAIGN.
HINDENBURG'B DEEDS. I KAISER'S BOMBASTIC ADDRESS. (By Cable.—Pre«9 Association.—Copyright.) AMSTERDAM, June 2. The Kaiser has arrived at the Eastern front. Responding to Marshal von Hindenburg's fervent welcome, he said: — "I thank voufor your great achievement in 1915, for your quiet, brave perseverance in winter, and the hotrighting of the autumn offensive. "The enemy against whom you are fighting i« superior in numbers, but this is nothing new to us. The Great King has given us a splendid example. Providence has willed it again. It is a good thing, too, because we arc obliged to brace ourselves for very special deeds. The efforts of iny armies | will endure victoriously and with God's j help will win an honourable peace such as we desire. "To you, dear Field-Marshal, Providence allotted the rjrrat task of freeing East Prussia from the enemv, and carrying our arms into Russia. The Fatherland will a. : ways remember the achievement. The name of Von Hindenburg is already of legendary fame." The Kaiser at Mitan distributed Iron Crosses.
