ITALY AT WAR.
.. j THE AUSTRIAN ADVANCE. i ENEMY'S CENTRE INSECURE. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) . LONDON, June 2. . The 'Westminster Gazette," discussing the Italian situation, points out that the Austrian centre at Arsiero and Asiago is imperilled, inasmuch as it is far ahead of its wings and the country is a very difficult one for the transport of heavy guns. The Italians hold the heights to the rear of thoso towns, and an advance by the Italian wings would endanger the whole Austrian Army between the Adige (in the Lagarina Valley) and the Brenita (in the Sugana Valley). On the other hand, if the Austrians reach Castagna, eight miles from Asiago, -they can cross the Brent a and compel the Italians to leave the Sugana \ alley.
WITH-THE EXEMY.
BULGARIANS IN THE TYROL. ROME, June 2. Bulgarians, who have been taken prisoner in the Southern Tyrol, admit that Bulgarian units are assisting the Austrians.
