AQUATICS.
KAIAPOI REGATTA COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Kaiapoi Regatta Committee was held last evening, Mr A. H. Cooper presiding. A letter wm received from the Kaia_noi Patriotic Committee, acknowledging receipt o£ £ZL Is 2d for the Belgian Relief Fund, being the proceeds of last year® Regatta. It was- decided to hold the regatta this year as -usual, ih- proceeds to be devoted to patriotic purposes, and to circularise the van one clubs and Rowing Associations intimating that certificates . would be> given in lieu of prizes, and (ih-at the ej> vetoes of carriage on boats' would 'be borne by . the Regatta Committee. It wae agreed to approach the Kaiapoi Volunteer. Fire Brigade , to endeavour to arrange a coloured water display on Reratta night. r The following officers -.were electe-d:.— Patron: Hon. D.
