RANGIORA

Before a crowded audience in the Institute Hall last evening, Mrs Snowden snoke in support of the Prohibition" movement. The Mayor (Mr C. 1. Jennings) presided. At the .conclusion of her address, the speaker was accorded a vote of thanks on the motion of Mrs H. Cobden Cox, seconded by Mrs May. Votes of thanks were also accorded the chairman and the Brass Band, which played outside the hall before the meeting.
