(PRESS ASSOCTATION TELEGRAM.) : AUCKLAND, July 10 (10 p.m.) Since an early hour, this morning" a heavy fog has. enveloped tbe liarbour and gulf. Old sea captains assert that never, before in' their experience has <_ fog lasted so long. Coastal shipping is delayed, and the sailings of several steamers have been po-tponed. The ferry steamer Condor strandei, near St. Heliers Bay this morning, and floated off with the rising tide to-night. The small steamer Minerva is reported ashore in the gulf, but the report is not confirmed. The barque John Craig, from Newcastle, has evidently anchored in the gulf. Tho ferry captains are having an anxious time, but are guided by. _rens and fog-horns, which at present are goj ing continually at various points.
