CASUALTIES.
Yesterday motning at Rangiora Mr A. Cassidy met with an accident at the Farmers'"Co-op. grain stores. Ho wa_ working'at a potato sorter, when a stack of whelt fell and jammed him against the machine, breaking one of his ribs, and bruising him about the body. Another of th© workmen narrowly escaped with some minor injuries.
R, Crump, who sustained concussion of the brain through a fall from a derrick on a bridge in the course of erection, between Hawarden and «Hun__i, died in the Hawarden Nursing Home yesterday morning. '
