CULVERDEN.
On Wednesday evening Mr TV. E. Miller, who has filled tho position of porter at Culverden railway station for the pa-«-t two years, and who has now been transferred to Rakaia, was mot at the station by members of tho railway staff and a few personal friends nnd presented with a handsome travelling rug. Mr M. J. O'Connor, of Christchurch. fills tho vacancy at Culverden.
