OBITUARY.

MR. J. KNEESHAW.

(By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, March 16. The death is announced of Mr John Kneeshaw, aged fifty-three, late tramway vraific superintendent. Deceased was educated at the Christchurch Boys' High School, and representd tho Railway Department at the Dunedin Exhibition in 16_9. At the meeting of the Christchurch Tramway Board yesterday, reference was made to the death of Mr Kneeshaw, and a cablegram was ordered to be sent to Mrs Kneeshaw, conveying the Board's sympathy with her in her bereavement. The late Mr Kneeshaw had since and prior to the inauguration of the local tramways, supplied information of value to the officials of the Board.
