* NEW BRIGHTON CLUB. A special meeting of the New Brighton Golf Club was held last night, when certain, alterations to the rules wore approved of. The entrance fee was fixed at £0. 2s for men and £1 Is for ladies, the annual subscription being also £2 2s and £1 Is. Power is given to the committee to permit five day lady player 3 (Monday to Friday, exclusive of public holiday.) to play over the links on payment of an annual fee of £1 Is, but withou_*-r.ght of membership. A new rule is also inserted relating to the conditions on which visitors may play. The seiason will be opened by the New Brighton Golf Club on Saturday, March 28th, the president, Mr R. C. Bkhop, performing the opening ceremony. An exhibition match by Hood and Clements will be played.
