TAVIUNI AGAIN HELD UP.
FIREMEN LEAVE AT DUNEDIN. (rBXAS ASSOCIATION TKLBGKAIt.) DUNEDIN, February 10. The Taviuni, which was to have sailed last night for Westport, was held up owing to not having a full complement of firemen. When the vessel arrived from the Bluff on Sunday, the firemen gave the requisite 24 hours' notice, maintaining, as they did at Wellington about a fortnight ago, that an extra stokehole! hand was needed. They wanted to work the ship with six firemen and jjo trimmers, instead of three firemen and two trimmers. The Union Company remained adamant, and after considerable difficulty got a crew t<v gether and the vessel sailed this afternoon. Owing to the delay, in her departure she will proceed to Westport direct, catting out Oamarn and Timaru.
