Lord Curzon presented the Royal Geographical Society's special medal to the widow_ and mothers of those lost in tho Scott expedition, and also to tho members of the Northern party.

The Italian Ambassador presented the Italian Society's medal to members of the expedition- Lord Curzon read Professor David's greeting on behalf of himself and tho Mawson expedition.

Mr Priestley lectured on the Northern party's experiences.
