WAIMAIRI.
I The Wnimairi County Council met on Monday. Present: —Aiessrs S. A. Staples (chairman), W. P. Spencer, D. Hawke, G. King, It. O. Duncan. W. Hall, S. Bullock, and F. Sisson. Mr Dowdlo waited on the Council with regard to the fencing of Spencer's drain. The matter was referred to Air Dowdle to arrange with his landlords. "Air J. a. Sharpe was appointed engineer, and Mr 11. J. Sharpe County Clerk to the Council. Owing to lack of funds in tho Styx Hiding, it was decided not . | to apply for the Government grant of g ' £250 for tho purpose of continuing . Sponcervillo road to tho sea. The usual annual contribution of £20 was made towards the Technical College.
