coniirtnation of Junior matches, and the grounds wore in good perdition. Old Hoys defeated Marist Bros- by IS points to 3. Down (1). Guiney (2),, Owles (2), and lMackmor<\ scored tries. Perrin scored for the losers. Mr F. Hickenbottom was referee. Merivale defeated .Sydenham on the North Park by 12 iioiuts to 3. Scott pottod a poal, scored a try and converted, • and Priest obtained a try. Trudgeoii, scored for Sydenham. Mr J. W. W eston was referee. C/wing to the Linwood Park bcinp under water in places, the match between Limvood and Albion was post; poned, and will bo played later in the season. Christchurch a bye.
