Since the presentation of Mr Paul's report of tho Hoskins Iron Foundry, members of the Opposition havo repeatedly attacked it. Mr Holman, in the Assembly, stated that it was incomprehensible to him that they should so exercise themselves in attempting to show that the enquiry was not intended to throw light on tho manner in which the Government's roquirements were being supplied. He created disorder by asking what interest the Opposition members had in the matter. (Received November 17th, 7-20 p.m.) In the Assembly Mr \\ ade's amendment for reducing the first item of the Kstimates, with a view to testing the llouse as to the Government's taxation proposals, was negatived by 31 to 121.
