HORNBY.

The Islington Hall on Friday night was the scene of a unique and most enjoyable concert, arranged by the ladies of the Red Rover Hockey Club as the closing of their season. Several choruses and plays by the members of the club were warmly appreciated by a largo attendance. Other items, consisting of recitations, songs and pianoforte selections, were contributed by the Misses Kinross, Coulter, Chancy, Kerr, Dixon, Truman, and Maude Lee. The National Anthem closed the conceit, which was followed by a dance. During the evening two presentations took place, one being to Mks Monk, as best player in the team, the other to Miss Earnshaw. as most improved player.
