Prices were:— Prime fat lambs. 14s 9d to 16s; lighter, 13s to 14s; fat wethers, 15s 6d to 16s 6d; fat ewes, lis 6d to 13s; store two and four-tooth wethers, 13s to 14s 3d; two-tooth wethers, 10s to 12s 6d; rape lambs, 12s to 13s Sd; store lambs, 9s 6d to lis 6d; two-tooth breeding ewes. 16s to 17s lOd; failingmouthed, 8s to 10s 6d. Cattle—Faheifers, £5 9_ 6d; fat cows, £5 8s 6d to £6 ss; forward etore steers, £6 7s 6d; two-year-old steers and heifers, £3 3s 6di to" £3 6s; yearlings, £1 12s Gd; calves, 23s 6d; dairy cows, £5 to £0 2s 6d. Pigs—Bacoriers, 53s to 635; porkers, 35s to 455; stores, 28s to 355; small pigs, 14s to 225. In the produce yards, heavy crossbred sheepskins mado to 7s, medium 4s Gd, lighter 2s 6d, merino skins 7s, calf skins Is 6d. Crossbred wool to 7,d per lb, halfbred 6Jd, merino 7Jd; locks and pieces 3Jd; hides 3__; fat ljd. Poultry—Roosters, os 7d per pair; hens. 2s Sd; pullets, 3s 9d'. Ducks, ss. Chi—-wheat, 3s 9d per bushel; oats, Is lOd; barley, 4s 6d; new'potatoes,. £d I per lb; bran, 6s per sack; sharps, | 10s 6d; pig meal, 9s; oatsheaf chaff, 52s 6d per ton. Plums, 2d per lb.
