DUNSANDEL STOCK SALE.
•The monthly sale was held in. tho Dunsandel yards on Monday, there being a moderate entry. The fo_owing were the prices:—Sheep—lß fat ewes, 12s 6d; 240 forward lambs, 13s 4d; a big line of store lambs wero passed Pigs—4_mo pen of weaners were sold, at 17s. Fat cattle, up to £7 2s 6d; springers, from £3 10s to £4 15s. At the conclusion of the Dunsandel stock sale on Monday, H. Matson and Co. offered a house and property in Dunsandel, Mr Walker being the purchaser.
At Baker Bros.' property auction yesterday the following properties wero passed in:—Bß Peterborough street, City, five-roomed house and J-acre at £475; 7 Gloucester street, City, sixroomed house and two-roomed cottage with over J-acro, at £320; Cashmere Hills, section 2r. 25p., at £145; Shirley road, Burwood, 1 acre, at £175.

AUCKLAND, January 26. The Auckland Harbour Board, at its meeting to-day, decided by seven votes to three not to accept the lowest tender for twelve large cranes, which was that of a German firm. Tho second tender, that of an English firm, was accepted. After adding the ten per cent, preferential duty to the amount of the German tender, it was £293 lower than that of tho English firm.
