Tho first annual meeting cf the Chevio' A_rricukural and Psistoral As-

sociation was held in tho McKenzie Town Hall on Saturelay afternoon. Tho president, Mr W. T. Robinson, occupied the chair and there Mas a very large attendance.

In responding, Mr Robinson stated he would still take deep inte'rost in the Cheviot A. and P. A_.ociation, at__l he was prou-i' of tho hr.-r_.our oi having been elected tho first prc-sident. Ho regretted not having been able to do more in connection with the kliom-, and thanked the Association for the cordial maimer in which they appreciated his services. On accepting the chair, Mr Oliver alio referr<*d to tho eiblo manner in which M,r Robinson had carried out his duties.
