Mr Larke, Commissioner for Canada, has received a resolution passed by the Board of Trade of' British Columbia respecting fuller information for Canadian newspapers from other portions of the Empire. One clause sets forth the desirableness of making arrangements with the other Governments concerned in and responsible for the deficit in tho Pacific cable, whereby that line may bo used at certain periods of the day, when commercial business does not offer, for tho free transmission of Press despatches between Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
