As far as 1«m ascertain from those who have fully tried it, fowls kept in the ore hard aro a certain euro lor the pest. Dm scaly blight is just a small matter in comparison, and •is long as there, is a quick ience on tlie land or a hawthorn tree, the scaly blight will nourish. If kept, liow.-v.m-. iv detent bounds, it is not a deadly blight or of IlltK'h consequences. As I;: the whito or American blight, some trees are much more subject to it than others, and only those trees should be put in that are not subject to it. Acts of Parliament and fines and inspectors aro all nonsense and expense and annoyance that a little common. n_: can do very well without, and very oitcn simple remedies aro the easiest and best.-Y.ur.,
