Our Timaru correspondent writes:— The local markets are still very quiet Millers state that they are fairly we.. stocked, and as they show no disposition to gire the 4i 6d, ex store, that is being asked for wheat, there is practically nothing doing in this cereal. A few lines of oats are changing hands, for feed and seeu purposes. Gortons and Duns are worth 3s, and Daui.-di 2s Id,, on trucks, Timaru. Potatoes
have eased back in price, being now only worth £2 15s to £3 per ton.
