The total for tho thirty-third week'of tlie New Zealand egg-laying competition is '1979, making, a grand aggregate of 60,781, and a weekly average per pen of 19.79. Tho highest, layings for the week are:—Mr Steel (Picton) 31, Father Servajoan (Blenheim) 31, Mr Edelsten (Matueka) 31, Messrs King and Bashell (Blenheim) 30, all White Leghorns. The order , of merit in the grand aggregate runs as follows, ell tho pens boing White Leghorns:—Mr Leger (I/evin) 95G, Mr Brooks (South Australia) 802, Marlborough A. and P. Association 852, Miss Mick Shaw (Blenheim) 841, Mr Jonathou flodson (Blenhfcira) 822.
