EDUCATION BOARD SCHOLARSHIPS.

Following are the results of Jibe Education Board scholarships. For the senior scholarships the following were the successful candidates, their names being given in the order of merit. Anderson, Girls' High School, Christohurch, 530. The result of the junior scholarships is as follows, the possible number of marks obtainable being 650:—-Harry Rands, Metbv*n School, 395; Edward A. Turner, Ashburton Borough School, 386; John Davidson, Springston, 382; Clfwa A. M. Hubston, West Melton, 369; Catherine M. Reynolds, Glentunnel. 368 ; Ada Fairbairn, Gloucester street, 361; Wm. R. Greig, Normal School, 356; Wm. L. Patersoa, Sydenham, 353; Maud .H. Squire, West Meltou, 349; Ernest Osborn, Richmond, 336; Alex. Smith, Aenburton Borough, 334; Francis R. Callaghan, Lincoln jjistrict High School, 325. There were thirteen examined for the senior and 57 for the junior scholarships.
