At the AsKTTurton sale, held on Monday, there was a full yarding of sheep, mostly crossbred ewes and store lambs. The demand for good young ewes was brisk, and one line of two-tooths fetched 18s 3d. Most of the lambs offered were backward, and the demand was hardly up to recent sales. In the store cattle class, dairy cowu fetched from £4 17s 6d to £7, and a fining bull was sold for £2. In the fat cattle line, steers ran up to £7 lis, cows reached from £6 2s 6d to £7 10s, and heifers were sold at prices ranging from £6 5s to £8. In tne fat sheep class, crossbred ewes fetched from 8s to 14s 4d, lambs from 8s lOd to 9s, merino ewes __, two-tooth ewes _.«. merino wethers 10s, crossbred wctliens 15s 3d. Tlie store lambs realised from Ys to 12s 3d, small lambs from Jfc 6d to 6s ,sd, crossbred wetheij (two-tooth) 14s, ci-o-sbred ewes (two-tooth) lQs lOd to I_J 3d, two and four-tooth ewes 14« to 14s lOd, failing mouth ewes 8s 4d to lis lld, merino ewes 55,6 dto Ss 6d, eight-tooth ewes 12s 3d to 12s Bd.
