OTAGO MINING MEETING.
(FBXSS ABSOOIATIOK T_C_-___.) DUNEDIN, .September 12. ; Two mining meetings of somewhat opposite character were held to-day. The first was the Manuherik— Gold Dredging Company, which won gold valued at £9752, and declared a dividend of £480, or equal, to 8s per share, which, with 2s in the previous year, practically made the amount paid up. Since then another 2s had .been paid, and there was _WOO in reserve. ■ .' . ( The other meeting was that of the New Electrio Extended Company, at which it was decided to confirm a resolution to wind up. Since last meeting the purchasers of the company's dredge and olaim had struck it rich, and paid oif £500 of the purchase money, making £700 in all, and leaving £693 owing. The result of winding up would be that shareholders would get beck their' capital and 3s per share on the paid-up subscribed capital.
