On Saturday a race In connection with ti* Christchurch Homing Society was flown from Invercargill. The winner of the race ■was Mr A. Stewart's Endure, who completed the journey (291 miles 1745 yards) in Yhrt 33min 68sec. This beats the previous beet record by about 20min.
