Prices—Mutton, fine, 255; medium, 23s 6d; beef, fine, 23s 6d; medium, 22s 6d. The American visible wheat • supply is estimated at 51,737,000 bushels. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following, cablegram from their London office under date Bth instant: — "Since our last telegram, prices of tallow in general are higher by 3d to 6d per cwt." The New Zealand fcj>Sh a*m Mercantile Agency Company have received the following London cable message, dated February Bth: — 'Tallow.—There is a good demand. New Zealand fine mittton, and good beef tallows are worth respectively 24s 6d and 23s 9d per cwt (last quotations were 24s and 23s respectively)." , "New Zealand Hemp.—There is more inquiry New Zealantl has advanced in sympathy- with the advance in Manila; medium is worth £22 per ton.
