Unittfcl Press Association—-By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. BURSTING OF A DAM. BRISBANE, February 9. The railway dam at Gladstone, containing thirty million gallons of water, burst. The water swept through and partially destroyed the town dam, and carried away fences and tanks. A number of houses were flooded, and the inmates rescued with difficulty. DISTRIBUTION OF COLONIAL PRODUCE. HOBART, February 9. Sir E. Braddon is agreeable to join the other colonies in promoting the distribution of colonial produce in tbe United Jungdom if enquiries justify such a stepV
