MEETINGS, ENTERTAINMENTS, &c.
Last Thursday the Sunday school children of St. Columbia's, Hororata, had a very enjoyable treat in the beautiful grounds of Waireka, kindly thrown open by Mr and Mrs Cresswell. In the Lyceum last night Mr W. W. Collins continued his course of addresses on Mental Science, and delivered a lecture on " Psychology And Sociology : the Relation of Mental Science to Social Reform?.'"' There was a goodly gathering of the members of the Societe uruncaise on i'riday at (Virion College, on the occasion of the opening of the season. An excellent description of a popular method of teaching music was given by Professor Paul Robin, and was greatly appreciated by the members present.
