OLD AGE PENSIONS ACT.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)
WELLINGTON, December 8,
Mr W. J. Galloway, M.P. for-Manchester South-west, arrived by the Waikare, from Sydney. His visit is- understood to be for the purpose of collecting data in connection with the Old Age Pensions Act. When interviewed, this morning, he declined to commit himself on the subject, but stated that he intended leaving for the South almost immediately.
